About the role

  • Application Support Engineer at evoke monitoring production systems and troubleshooting issues in a hybrid role. Collaborating with Operations and Development teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of all production systems and sub-systems
  • Incident management, resolution, and escalation of issues on all environments
  • Troubleshooting and investigating issues on all applications
  • Maintain the documentation set on all applications and systems

Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
  • Linux shell scripting experience
  • Experience of Database, Web and Mobile applications
  • A good knowledge of web technologies, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, HTML & React
  • A good knowledge of object-orientated programming, Java or Python
  • SQL Query skills (MySQL)
  • Experience in an Application Support role preferred (Desirable)
  • Experience working in a 24*7 production environment (Desirable)
  • Experience supporting web, mobile web and mobile applications (Desirable)
  • Experience supporting applications in written in PHP, Python, JavaScript and HTML (Desirable)
