About the role
- Application Engineer for Transmission focusing on customer specifications and project schedules in automotive engineering. Collaborating with OEMs and product owners for ZF AMT products.
Responsibilities
- Definition of customer specifications of ZF AMT products with OEMs and ZF German department.
- Define project schedule for prototype and serial production together with customer and corresponding department.
- Work together with product owner to prepare and create new BOMs for new applications.
- Installation check, trouble shooting and vehicle test for ZF AMT products at OEMs.
- Installation release for AMT products assembled on prototype vehicles with necessary support from ZF Germany.
Requirements
- Bachelor above in Mechatronics / Automotive Engineering/ Control Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
- Fluent English in oral and writing.
- 0-3 years of experience in application & calibration of AT or AMT transmissions in heavy duty truck or similar areas.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering, Knowledge of automotive engineering, transmission technology,CAN knowledge and tools usage experience (e.g. CANape, CANalyzer) is an asset, basic knowledge of electrical and pneumatic system.
- Good communication skills, independent work with customers and other department.
