About the role

  • Environmental Project Manager overseeing client projects in Buffalo's Environmental Division. Responsible for project management, staff training, and environmental permitting.

Responsibilities

  • Take on project/client management responsibilities
  • Train/mentor junior level staff
  • Environmental reporting and permitting as it relates to natural resources
  • Lead wetland and stream delineations
  • Conduct protected species surveys

Requirements

  • Minimum BS or BA in Environmental, Ecology, or Biology.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in delineation, permitting, jurisdictional determinations, etc. of freshwater wetlands and streams.
  • Ability to review, edit, and provide QA/QC for deliverables.
  • Some travel within New York and surrounding states is required.
  • Fieldwork required.
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
  • Fast-paced environmental consulting/engineering practice.
