About the role

  • Sub-Project Manager Purchasing for vehicle development projects at Jungheinrich in Zagreb, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery of procurement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive project management in partly international vehicle development projects according to PEP in close coordination with the departments involved
  • Controlling and ensuring on-time delivery of purchased parts for A1+ A2 sample, prototype, initial sample, pilot series, pilot series & start of production
  • Independent control of the implementation of defined measures
  • Participation in make or buy decisions together with plant controlling
  • Clarifying and ensuring the assigned project goals with the TPO project team members
  • Regular proactive communication and task agreement with all TPO employees working in SE teams (SE team - preparation, implementation and follow-up)
  • Supporting the overall project manager and the SE team leaders in the creation of the business case and its fulfillment in relation to all TPO activities
  • Project coordination and communication of all TPO work packages within the purchasing department
  • Scheduling / controlling / reporting
  • Ensuring the application of standardized project management methods/tools
  • Synchronization and exchange with other/further projects
  • Making decisions regarding the sub-project and initiating measures

Requirements

  • Completed university degree Uni/FH/TU/TH (industrial engineering)
  • Several years of professional experience in internationally oriented purchasing
  • Knowledge of international markets (BCC, LCC, etc.), suppliers, technologies, manufacturing processes and cost structures
  • Foreign language skills (fluent in English, German; ideally business fluent in another foreign language)
  • Several years of experience in project purchasing
  • Legal knowledge, in particular BGB, HGB product liability and contract law
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and calculation processes
  • Sound knowledge of project management
  • Sound knowledge of SAP (MM, BW)
  • Proactive communication with the relevant stakeholders
