About the role

  • Associate Manager in Accenture's Global Protection & Security Team for Central Europe. Advising on physical safety, crisis management, and threat analyses in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities

  • You advise our leaders in Germany and in the Central & Eastern Europe region on all matters related to physical security, crisis management, threat analysis and travel security
  • You coordinate all security-related measures during crises and emergencies, support leaders in decision-making and ensure that processes and communication chains function effectively
  • You conduct regular site inspections, risk analyses and security reviews — from access control and building protection to security services
  • You analyze security-related incidents and reports, perform structured risk assessments (including threat assessments), and actively participate in Behavioral Threat Assessment teams
  • You maintain a broad network of contacts — from Business, IT, Cyber Security, Travel, HR and Legal to authorities, diplomatic missions, security networks and intelligence services
  • You advise employees and leaders on travel risks, analyze geopolitical developments and ensure that travel is planned and carried out safely
  • For events, you develop security concepts, coordinate on-site measures and, when required, support close protection measures.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate security, protection and security services, public authorities or the armed forces — ideally in an international environment
  • Practical experience in crisis and emergency management as well as physical security; experience with investigations, incident management or security assessments is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex, sensitive situations confidently, with a solutions-oriented and discreet approach
  • High responsiveness and the ability to switch quickly between projects and priorities to meet time-critical tasks and to gain valuable insights through collaboration and communication
  • Confident use of common Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High willingness to travel (approx. 40% travel), availability to work outside standard office hours and to be reachable 24/7 as required by the role
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Industry-recognized local and international security certifications are a plus.
