About the role
- Product Manager for corn at KWS enhancing market positioning and product launching strategies. Collaborating with sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure effective product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the market-oriented positioning of KWS corn varieties and traits, and the development of a consistent storytelling for the German market
- Development of market launch concepts, including market and competitor monitoring, and the creation of technical content for marketing and sales
- Translation of complex technical information and trial results into clear, customer-centered value propositions, and presentation of technical content at events
- Technical support for and further development of the myKWS platform for corn
- Design and delivery of training for the sales team, active communication with internal and external stakeholders, and participation in international project groups
- Support in the planning, execution and evaluation of field trials
Requirements
- Degree in agricultural sciences or a comparable field of study
- Good knowledge of agricultural practice and crop production
- Ideally, professional experience in the agricultural sector, particularly in product management or sales
- Combination of operational, commercial and strategic thinking, along with strong analytical skills
- High level of creativity, excellent communication skills, and a responsible, results-oriented working style
- Willingness to travel within Germany (>30%)
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
