About the role

  • Project Manager leading integrated automated material handling projects across North America at Körber. Overseeing projects' administrative, technical, and financial components, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder communication
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams and subcontractors, establishing priorities and resolving conflicts as needed
  • Ensure system designs meet all contractual and technical requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and control the project master schedule, ensuring timely project completion
  • Monitor and report project progress on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and project participants
  • Manage risk throughout the project lifecycle and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the project budget, to deliver results within or below financial targets
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering cross-department collaboration and team development
  • Perform additional duties as required to support project execution and organizational objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical field; equivalent industry experience may be considered
  • 5–8+ years of project management experience with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity in automation, parcel, warehouse, or similar industries
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects exceeding $10–$15 million in value
  • Experience working within international or cross-functional team environments is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50% or as required based on project demands
  • Proficient in project scheduling tools and familiar with ERP/project management systems
  • Skilled in project planning, execution, and managing competing priorities, with strong subcontractor coordination and vendor management experience
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail
