About the role
- Manage patching activities and lead a team of technicians for a Catholic fraternal benefit society. Oversee compliance and collaboration with IT and security teams in securing the IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in patching activities across diverse platforms including Windows, Linux, and third-party applications.
- Manage and mentor a team of patch management technicians, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Develop and maintain patching schedules, policies, and procedures aligned with security and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate patch deployments and minimize operational impact.
- Monitor patch compliance and vulnerability remediation efforts, producing reports for leadership and audit purposes.
- Evaluate and implement patch management tools and automation strategies.
- Stay informed on emerging threats, vendor advisories, and industry best practices.
