About the role
- Intern supporting legal processes at KLA, a full-service law firm since 2002. Assisting in process management, documentation, external diligences, and legal research.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in monitoring cases, drafting pleadings and other legal documents, and organizing documents;
- Assist in preparing reports, emails and memoranda;
- Perform external diligences at courthouses, tribunals and other public offices;
- Assist in updating the case tracking system and other case management systems used by the department;
- Conduct research on legal doctrine and case law;
- Emphasis on matters related to debt recovery and high-volume portfolios;
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd to 6th semester of a Law degree;
- Demonstrated interest in Civil Litigation and Debt Recovery;
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Intermediate to advanced English;
- Proactive and cooperative attitude;
- Excellent writing skills and strong professional conduct;
- Curiosity and willingness to deepen practical legal knowledge in Civil Litigation and Arbitration.
