About the role

• Controls Engineering Manager responsible for team management and project execution in logistics automation. Must have extensive experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of project execution engineers
• Oversee day-to-day project execution
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members
• Ensure project targets for quality, delivery, and cost are met
• Maintain project budgets and reporting
• Participate in pre-sale technical reviews
• Drive continuous talent development and performance evaluations
• Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Build effective relationships across departments and locations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading engineers
• Experience in the material handling and logistics automation industry
• Ability to manage project execution
• Knowledge of CAD design software including AutoCAD is a plus
• Knowledge of PLCs including Allen-Bradley and/or Rockwell is a plus
• Ability to work individually and lead with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational, analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proven communication skills and collaboration abilities
• Travel approximately 15-25% to customer or Dematic locations
