About the role

  • Engineering Manager leading a senior engineering team in identity verification using advanced technologies. Elevating operational efficiency and mentoring talents in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Help team members advance their careers through one-on-one meetings, continuous feedback, performance evaluations, goal setting, and the creation of individual development plans;
  • Lead people with varying levels of maturity and technical skills;
  • Promote value generation and business impact within the team by understanding and translating product requirements into functional requirements for the team;
  • Engage the team in solving complex problems across the back-end, front-end, and mobile systems maintained by the team;
  • Support the team in maintaining systems and driving continuous improvement, promoting architectural evolutions aligned with business needs;
  • Contribute to solution architecture design, acting as a technical ambassador who asks the right questions so the team can build the right software solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong people management experience, especially with senior teams;
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams in growth or transformation contexts;
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, and prioritization;
  • Solid understanding of software quality, QA practices, and continuous improvement;
  • Ability to provide technical influence without micromanaging.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with security products, fraud prevention, or critical platforms;
  • Experience leading teams from acquired companies or teams that have undergone process maturation;
  • Experience in environments with stringent SLAs, critical rollouts, and enterprise customers.
