Responsibilities
Creating ROI driven Direct Response marketing strategies that drive the direction of landing pages, websites, copy, layouts and funnels that are designed to sell.
Conducting market research, seeking in depth knowledge of the clients ideal customer and the competitive terrain.
Overseeing and directing the copywriting team to produce copy for projects led by your research and strategy.
Outlining basic wireframes for landing pages and websites to assist the project management, web design and development teams.
Scoping of Lead Gen and eCommerce websites (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).
Conducting CRO Audits for client websites focusing on UX, UI, page performance and copywriting improvements that are designed to increase their conversion rate.
Build relationships with clients and become rooted in their business so we grow with them.
Monitor live campaigns, analyse websites and funnels and prepare performance analysis reports that identify areas of opportunity.
Utilise conversion rate optimisation tactics (i.e. A/B, split-testing etc.) to squeeze as much ROI as humanly possible out of each dollar spent.
Educate and keep clients in the loop on our strategies and tactics.
Contribute to the team by identifying areas to improve our project delivery.
Communicate and work with our Paid and Social Advertising Departments to synchronize our strategies to deliver the best ROI for clients.
Requirements
A curious and avid researcher constantly seeking knowledge about customers that is not yet known.
An ROI driven Direct Response marketing strategist driving the direction of landing pages, websites, copy, layouts, funnels and offers that are designed to sell.
A not-yet mad scientist that analyses & seeks out opportunities and experiments with email campaigns to continuously optimise conversions and improve the customer experience.
A solid understanding of how Direct Response, Digital Strategy, Optimisation, Sales Funnels, UX, UI, page performance, Google AdWords, SEO and Facebook Ads affect and can improve conversion rates.
A solid understanding of CMS platforms and eCommerce systems (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) and Email Automation software.
Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail. Loves to multitask and is motivated by and works well under pressure. Has the ability to self-learn and use initiative to solve problems.
Ability to build good working relationships with clients and co-workers fostering open communication on project planning, progress and execution.
Ability to educate a client and 'sell' them on our direct response strategies to deliver ROI.
Positive “can-do” attitude, with a desire to extend existing skillset and be a problem solver.
