About the role
- Sozialpädagoge*in zur Leitung einer Intensivpädagogischen Wohngruppe für Kinder in Wolfratshausen. Verantwortlich für pädagogische Leitung, Personal und Teamorganisation in einem innovativen Sozialunternehmen.
Responsibilities
- Management of a residential group, including professional and operational supervision
- Personnel responsibility for 6–8 employees (recruitment, hiring, staff support and development)
- Creation of duty rosters and vacation planning
- Facilitation and organization of weekly team meetings and retreats/workshops
- Responsibility for the pedagogical placement, design and structuring of the facility and for steering the organizational development process in coordination with the department management
- Implementation of care/support plans, service agreements and measures catalogues in cooperation with the funding agencies
- Providing pedagogical counseling and care within the facility
- Enjoyment of and willingness to work day and night shifts in the group
Requirements
- A completed, state-recognized qualification as an educator (Erzieher/in) or curative education practitioner (Heilerziehungspfleger/in), or a degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Curative Education, Childhood Education or Special Education with state recognition, or an equivalent qualification
- Enthusiasm for leading and further developing the facility and its staff
- Team-building and team leadership skills
- Confident demeanor and negotiation skills
- Empathy, motivation, resilience under pressure and a sense of humour
- Appreciation of the freedoms and benefits of shift work (flexible scheduling concept)
- A valid Class B driving licence (for use of the company vehicle during working hours)
- Good knowledge of common Office programs
