About the role

  • Media Sales Executive for Key Media managing B2B sales and account management. Focusing on new business development and working with leading global brands in Kingston, Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Account management of existing customers and new business development
  • Working with some of the world’s fastest‑growing global brands
  • Media sales – representing strong B2B media brands in various business verticals (e.g. Insurance, Mortgage, Wealth, Legal, HR, etc.)
  • Innovation – introducing new and innovative ad technology opportunities for our advertisers
  • Account management – working with clients ranging from SMEs to big corporates (direct and through agencies)
  • Business development – cultivating new business opportunities across a range of clients
  • Collaboration – working closely with a range of people across the company (sales, marketing, editorial and design)
  • Working to realistic KPIs and updating our CRM on a regular basis

Requirements

  • Have media sales experience – 3+ years of proven, successful advertising sales experience (digital/B2B experience strongly preferred)
  • Are results‑driven, self‑motivated , and willing to go the extra mile to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Have strong communication skills – superior client liaison, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Are comfortable working with senior stakeholders at agencies and brands
  • Are based in, or willing to relocate to, Kingston, Canada and can work in‑office 2 days per week as part of our hybrid model when roles become available
