About the role

  • Sales Executive responsible for driving profitable growth by influencing agents to sell Kemper Auto. Engaging with independent agents and supporting business initiatives across the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Influencing Agent Behavior: Implements and executes sales strategies to achieve financial and sales goals.
  • Collaborates with internal partners to achieve intended outcomes.
  • Utilizes the appropriate sales tools to influence behavior, and drive results.
  • Identifies opportunities to cross-sell Kemper Auto products and identified agencies needs aligned with Kemper Auto offerings.
  • Responsible for managing and developing a territory of independent agents.
  • Provides an outstanding experience for agents through consultative selling.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with agents at all levels within the agency.
  • Drives new business growth, mix of business, retention, and profitability within assigned territory.
  • Stays current on product and pricing trends to drive intended outcomes.
  • Actively participates in regional strategy meetings to develop and lead execution of business goals.
  • Assist in the implementation of new production launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience or insurance industry experience preferred and a minimum of 5 years of professional and influential work experience required.
