Responsibilities
Strategically and customer‑centric development of an evidence‑based, future‑proof product portfolio across the entire product lifecycle
Global management of the product line to ensure competitive positioning and continuous improvement, particularly based on product line data (internal/external) and KPIs
Maintain project and portfolio tracking tools and data sources to support communication and decision‑making
Understand market trends and customer requirements and translate them into product requirements to feed the R&I funnel
Initiate and oversee product strategy, new developments, upgrades and discontinuations in coordination with R&I, PD and NPI
Initiate and guide development of configuration, design, calculation and costing tools (e.g., KSRT) in coordination with C&P
Develop expertise as a Product Line specialist, continuously collect and capitalize on product knowledge, and share best practices and lessons learned across the organization
Maintain all necessary documentation (e.g., technical specifications for product developments, product brochures, manuals and training materials, excluding PD operational documents)
Monitor and analyze competitors, including with MI support and input data
Support upstream GSE, Sales and Service teams as well as downstream Operations in technical customer meetings, collecting the "Voice of the Customer" from bid stage to recurring or major warranty claims
Requirements
Preferably a university degree (Master of Science, Dipl.-Ing. or equivalent) in a technical or business‑related field
Significant and relevant technical experience in the heat exchanger industry is essential
Additional qualifications such as IWE, PE, Eur. Ing. or Chartered Engineer are considered a strong advantage
At least 3 years of experience in product development (e.g., R&D, application engineering, PLM) or technical sales
Experience in project and matrix (lateral) management
Solid understanding of the heat exchanger market
Experience in customer‑facing roles, ideally supporting technical or commercial discussions
Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic working knowledge of SAP
Strong analytical thinking, flexibility and a customer‑oriented approach
Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with remote teams
Excellent communication skills and a high level of resilience
Team‑oriented mindset combined with openness, creativity and a forward‑looking attitude
Pragmatic and conscientious approach to analyzing past performance and deriving improvements
Willingness to travel occasionally; travel largely self‑planned depending on product line needs
