About the role

  • Student assistant role focusing on marketing and sales at Berliner Festspiele. Support in event management and digital asset management while gaining arts sector experience.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, inspecting and distributing bulk deliveries (printed materials and promotional items), including creating program-specific address distribution lists
  • Managing inventory, including producing evaluation/statistical reports
  • Digital archiving and digital asset management
  • Assisting with venue setup and provisioning
  • Supporting the planning and staffing of promotional events (promo booths, leaflet distributions)
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the address database
  • General office tasks and research

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled (minimum 3rd semester) with at least 2 years of student status remaining
  • Work experience with comparable tasks; ideally initial internships in the cultural sector, communication/marketing, sales, promotion or archiving
  • Proficiency with digital applications, e.g. Microsoft Office (Excel/Word); experience with databases, newsletter and CRM systems; Adobe InDesign is an advantage
  • High motivation and flexibility
  • Independent, careful and systematic working style
  • Physical stamina
  • German and English language skills (CEFR level B2)
