About the role
- iOS Engineering Manager leading a diverse engineering team at KAYAK, enhancing their travel search engine. Required to work in Berlin office at least 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of iOS engineers, providing guidance and constructive feedback.

- Own and shape the team’s technical roadmap together with your team and product partners.

- Work closely with product managers and designers to turn user needs into technical solutions.
- Keep up-to-date with iOS technologies and frameworks and explore new tools that can benefit the team.
- Organize development tasks and prioritize work to deliver projects on time.
- Bridge communication between technical and non-technical teams to keep everyone aligned.
- Participate actively in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural planning.
Requirements
- Experience leading or managing a team of engineers, including task delegation, performance management, and mentoring.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills working across teams and perspectives.
- Good understanding of software development principles and UI design patterns.
- Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
