About the role

  • Seasonal Ice Cream Supervisor managing events with ice cream in Ontario. Overseeing staff, customer service, and inventory management during events.

Responsibilities

  • Run events with 1+ employees
  • Greet customers and serve ice cream
  • Traveling to various fairs and businesses across Ontario for events
  • Provide information to customers
  • Coordinate with event contacts
  • Replenish supplies as needed
  • Monitor inventory and placing orders
  • Handle cash-making change and prepare invoices
  • Receive and process payments by cash, credit card or automatic debit
  • Conduct sales transactions through internet-based electronic commerce
  • Maintain a clean atmosphere of the scoop truck, adhering to food safety
  • Physical aspects include standing/walking and bending at the waist
  • Lift/move objects weighing at least 11.3 kg (25 lbs)

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with inventory management and stock control
  • Mature and reliable with strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Flexible; crew members must be available to work a variety of shifts on days, evening, weekends and statutory holidays
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Be of age to stay overnight in hotels for multi-day trips (accommodation provided)
