About the role

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the cloud infrastructure of our customers using numerous cloud-native Azure services (e.g., Databricks, Container Apps, Bastion, DNS)
- Administration of the Windows and Linux servers hosted within these environments, including using Azure Update Manager and Azure Backup
- Transformation of applications in cloud migration projects in close coordination with the respective account managers, including lift-and-shift approaches
- Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements
- Collaboration with the DevOps team to implement scalable automations using Infrastructure as Code
- Implementation of customer-specific requirements and cross-cutting processes such as reporting and event and alert management
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or alternatively vocational training as an IT specialist
- Several years of professional experience in cloud engineering, system engineering, or comparable roles
- Solid knowledge of managing Azure services via the Azure Portal and using Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform/OpenTofu)
- Practical experience implementing customer-specific solutions, technical interfaces (e.g., integrations with monitoring tools), and administering applications and servers
- Independent, meticulous, and service-oriented working style
- Very good German skills (at least upper B2 level) and good English skills (B2)
