About the role
- System Engineer supporting IT services for KAP IT-Service GmbH. Responsible for managing hybrid infrastructures and assisting users across various sites.
Responsibilities
- Classify and document incoming requests and incidents using our ticketing system
- Analyze and resolve complex IT issues across local and cloud infrastructures from multiple vendors
- Manage and maintain a hybrid infrastructure (Active Directory and Entra ID)
- Provide general user support and assistance with IT questions and problems at various sites
- Work with common solutions from different vendors for virtualization, backup, networking, and client and server operating systems
- Create IT documentation
- Set up and install IT equipment such as PCs, notebooks and smartphones
Requirements
- Completed vocational training, e.g., as an IT specialist for system integration, or further IT-related training with relevant experience in an IT service desk or technical support
- Experience with M365 services and client operating systems Windows 10/11 as well as server operating systems (from Windows Server 2019)
- Knowledge of and practical experience with Active Directory and Entra ID
- Strong communication skills and customer orientation
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken; basic knowledge of Polish is desirable
- Willingness to travel to provide on-site support at our satellite locations in Coswig, Döbeln, Leisnig and Heinsdorfergrund
- Valid driver’s license (Class B)
