About the role
- System Engineer providing IT support for various locations in Germany. Involves management of IT issues and infrastructure in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Classify and document incoming requests and incidents using our ticketing system
- Analyze and resolve complex IT issues across on-premises and cloud infrastructures involving multiple vendors
- Manage and maintain a hybrid infrastructure (Active Directory and Entra ID)
- Provide general support and assistance to users with IT questions and issues at various locations
- Work with common solutions from various vendors for virtualization, backup, networking, as well as client and server operating systems
- Create IT documentation
- Set up and install IT equipment such as PCs, laptops, and smartphones
Requirements
- Completed vocational training, e.g., as an IT specialist in system integration, or further IT training with relevant experience in an IT service desk or technical support
- Experience with Microsoft 365 services and client operating systems Windows 10/11, and server operating systems (from Windows Server 2019)
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Good written and spoken German and English; basic knowledge of Polish desirable
- Willingness to travel to provide on-site support at our branch locations in Coswig, Döbeln, Leisnig, and Heinsdorfergrund
- Class B driving license
