About the role

  • System Engineer responsible for system architecture and project management in Neonatal Care products at Dräger, a leader in medical technology. Collaborating across teams and managing technical risks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and take ownership of the overall system architecture and requirements management for our products and product families
  • Coordinate functions, interfaces, and subsystems with all stakeholders across departmental boundaries
  • Take on technical project leadership and lead interdisciplinary development teams
  • Identify technical risks, support testing, and assess the technical feasibility of new ideas
  • Contribute your expertise to requirements engineering and document new concepts and inventions
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for regulatory approval activities

Requirements

  • Completed engineering degree or equivalent qualifications
  • Several years of professional experience in the development of complex technical products or in systems engineering of medical devices
  • Broad interdisciplinary background, e.g., software, electronics, mechanics
  • Deep knowledge of thermoregulation
  • Knowledge of project management
