About the role

  • The Law School Recruiting Assistant plays a vital role in supporting Jackson Walker's law student recruiting initiatives.
  • This position assists in coordinating on-campus interview programs, summer associate events, and law school outreach efforts that strengthen the firm's relationships with students and law schools.
  • Working closely with recruiting professionals, attorneys, and business staff, this role provides essential administrative and logistical support throughout the student hiring cycle.
  • The Assistant contributes to a positive candidate experience, ensuring all recruiting activities are executed efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with the firm's values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative or recruiting experience preferred, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (viDesktop preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends during peak recruiting seasons.
