The Law School Recruiting Assistant plays a vital role in supporting Jackson Walker's law student recruiting initiatives.
This position assists in coordinating on-campus interview programs, summer associate events, and law school outreach efforts that strengthen the firm's relationships with students and law schools.
Working closely with recruiting professionals, attorneys, and business staff, this role provides essential administrative and logistical support throughout the student hiring cycle.
The Assistant contributes to a positive candidate experience, ensuring all recruiting activities are executed efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with the firm's values.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 1 year of administrative or recruiting experience preferred, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (viDesktop preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends during peak recruiting seasons.
