About the role
- Software Developer focusing on ERP systems development for business and legal technologies. Involvement in migration projects from NAV to Business Central with Microsoft Dynamics.
Responsibilities
- You develop and extend business systems with a focus on ERP, particularly based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV / 365 Business Central.
- You provide technical support for migration and transformation projects — especially migrations from NAV to Business Central.
- You extend and customize ERP modules by programming in AL and C/AL.
- You integrate external systems such as BI tools or archiving solutions.
- You are responsible for database administration (Microsoft SQL Server), including monitoring, backups, performance tuning and security.
- You maintain Windows servers and perform software installations as well as patch management.
- You support release rollouts and system migrations.
- You collaborate closely with other departments on requirement analysis and technical implementation.
- You actively contribute to system migrations, release upgrades and user administration.
- You ensure reliable monitoring — for example using PowerShell and CheckMK.
- You also manage the archiving system (d.3) in a structured and secure manner.
Requirements
- A degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification (e.g., IT specialist in application development or system integration).
- Several years of experience in development and administration of ERP and business systems.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central and experience with AL/C/ C/AL.
- Confident use of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL — from querying to performance optimization.
- Experience in system and server administration on Windows, including network and permission structures.
- Knowledge of Java and experience with automation using PowerShell.
- Familiarity with modern development environments such as Git and Visual Studio Code, ideally also experience with the .NET framework.
- Quick comprehension, analytical thinking and a structured way of working.
- Team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Desirable but not required: knowledge of C# or C++, particularly for analysis and calculation components.
- Experience with web APIs, web services and common network protocols.
- Know‑how in UI/visualization using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
