Central point of contact for legal policy matters with a focus on compliance, anti-corruption and data protection
Coordination of company-wide risk management and data protection, and support for measures in close cooperation with executive management, the CFO, information security and data protection officers, as well as the development and implementation of compliance tools and a Compliance Management System, including guidelines, policies and instructions
Advising business units on drafting and adapting standard contracts for customers, suppliers, service providers and employees
Supporting certifications and external audits, and conducting internal audits and controls to identify risks and prevent damage
Assisting HR with planning and delivering training on compliance topics such as anti-corruption, data protection, occupational health and safety, and IT security
Preparing reports for executive management and — when required — drafting external compliance and data protection reports
Requirements
Successfully completed the Second State Law Examination (fully qualified lawyer)
Several years of professional experience as an attorney/fully qualified lawyer, ideally in a law firm or in an in-house legal department
Deep knowledge of civil law, particularly contract law
Knowledge of unfair competition law, data protection, IT or public procurement law; professional experience in compliance or quality assurance is an advantage
Analytical thinking, independent and structured working style, and strong problem-solving skills
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Confident user of MS Office
