Responsibilities
You manage the strategic procurement of key components and services for battery storage projects (e.g., battery systems, PCS, transformers, switchgear, EMS/SCADA as well as EPC and BoP services)
You develop commodity-group and supplier strategies taking into account global supply chains, raw material markets and regulatory requirements
You independently run international tenders (RFQ/RFP) and evaluate offers both technically and commercially
You negotiate complex project and framework contracts including delivery terms, warranties, availability commitments and liquidated damages
You identify supply-chain risks early and develop appropriate hedging and procurement strategies
As a partner to our technical departments, you contribute procurement expertise to specifications, procurement decisions and approval processes
You actively support the development of scalable procurement processes, tools and structures for our growing project portfolio
Requirements
Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in technical procurement, project procurement or category management—ideally in the energy, infrastructure or industrial sector
Good understanding of electrotechnical components, systems or infrastructure projects and the relevant technical interrelationships
Experience in contract negotiations, price analysis, supplier management and commercial procurement decisions
Analytical thinking, a structured working style and strong negotiation skills
Strong communication skills and a confident manner with internal and external stakeholders
Occasional willingness to travel to our site in Munich
Very good German and strong English skills
