About the role

  • Project purchasing manager leading procurement activities for defined project portfolios. Collaborating with departments, managing supplier contracts, and executing sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Primary purchasing lead for the assigned project portfolio
  • Lead all procurement activities related to the projects
  • Manage procurement from concept phase through to production (PPAP)
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to meet objectives
  • Anticipate supplier capacity and conduct market analyses to support innovation
  • Manage supplier contracts and liaise with the commodity team
  • Lead sourcing meetings for supplier selection and allocation
  • Ensure replacement and updating of parts during project phases
  • Define and implement the sourcing strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Procurement/Purchasing, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in project management or strategic procurement
  • Initial experience in a technical field: mechanical, electronic, or similar
  • IPMA Level D certification
  • Fluent in French and English; German is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of the MS Office suite and experience with an ERP system
  • Team player with versatility and process management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with strong influencing ability
