About the role

  • Corporate Controller role coordinating financial planning and analysis within Arkema. Responsible for financial reporting and compliance across DACH region.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis – Entity
  • Point of contact for Plant & BU FP&A and Regional SSC RTR
  • Support for Plant FP&A and newcomers in this area as required
  • Responsible for preparing the flash report for Corporate and NOP
  • Execution of SAP uploads and creation/maintenance of allocation cycles
  • Management of CO-HQ cycles, including Treasury
  • Collaboration with SSC O2C, PTP and RTR
  • Validation of IFRS financial statements in OneStream (Arkema GmbH & Bostik GmbH)
  • Execution of account reconciliations for Arkema GmbH
  • Reporting of long-term provisions in Workiva
  • Support for group insurance (budget preparation & control)
  • Energy management
  • Fleet analyses
  • Fuel consumption monitoring
  • Local support for Promenta
  • Transfer Pricing Operations
  • Plant FP&A controlling
  • Plant controlling: cost accounting, inventory and fixed-cost analysis
  • Validation of workflows in Webcycle for the intercompany recharges of Bostik GmbH
  • Creation of cycles for Working Capital, Other Working Capital, Assets and IFRS16
  • Review and approval of IT projects
  • Reporting of IT CapEx & OpEx; finance communication
  • Preparation of presentations and ad-hoc analyses for executive management and/or finance leadership
  • Contribution to the consolidation of financial analysis for the DACH region
  • Internal control and compliance tester for all Arkema Group entities in the DACH region
  • Ensuring adherence to internal controls and financial requirements through regular review of finance processes
  • Inventory audit support
  • Monitoring and checking compliance with statutory and internal policies during inventory
  • Preparation of meaningful audit reports and communication of findings

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration (Bachelor/Master) or a comparable field of study
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling/accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and SAP (FI-CO)
  • Ability to think analytically, conceptually and with an implementation focus
  • Team player with a careful and result-oriented working style
  • Enjoyment of professional and personal development
  • Excellent German and English skills; French is an advantage
