Field Service Technician providing 24x7 technical support and resolution for Teradyne's customers. Involved in system installations and diagnostics with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support and resolution to the customers including system installations, diagnostic and identification of problem areas which result in system failures.
Work on shift rotation, providing a 24x7 field support to customers.
Manage customer expectations by quick, clear and accurate delivery of pro-active action, Follow up and ensure timely closure of all customer complaints.
Escalate service problem and take ownership of problem until it is resolved.
Requirements
Diploma in Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in Field Service/Maintenance role and prior experience in Hard Disk Drive Testing is an advantage.
Good working knowledge with automation applications.
Good command on Microsoft Excel is a must.
Knowledge in C, C++/ Visual C++ programming will be an advantage.
Strong analytical skill and good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language are required.
Proactive team player, meticulous with ability to work independently and under pressure.
Flexible in job and shift assignment.
Has a winning attitude and willing to go extra mile and exceed customer expectation.
Able to read electronic schematic diagrams and basic CAD.
Capable to perform soldering and desoldering components.
