Responsibilities
Performing on-site system startups, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and customer training for Acuity’s advanced lighting and control systems
Managing project timelines while interfacing with customers and cross-functional teams throughout Acuity Brands
Owning and delivering customer solutions, and helping to build customer loyalty
Supporting lean activities and seeking continuous improvements with our Production Facilities
Act as a subject matter expert during customer engagements and technical escalations
Prepare detailed field reports following service calls
Conduct on-site training sessions for customers on system operation and maintenance
Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to identify opportunities for product and process improvements
Requirements
Degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline
Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in a field service role with electrical and mechanical responsibilities
Strong aptitude in electrical systems, control technologies, and schematic interpretation
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems
Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport required
Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus for international support.
