About the role

  • Supply Chain Analyst ensuring material availability and optimizing inventory for imported electronics. Collaborating with international suppliers and internal teams to achieve compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, analyze and ensure the availability of production materials, focusing on the procurement of imported electronic components, ensuring demand fulfillment while optimizing inventory, meeting deadlines, reducing costs and complying with company policies and foreign trade regulations.
  • Plan material requirements (MRP), taking into account demand, lead times, inventory levels and production capacity.
  • Procure electronic components from international markets.
  • Negotiate commercial and logistical terms with suppliers.
  • Track purchase orders from issuance through final delivery.
  • Support import processes (COMEX).
  • Interface with customs brokers, freight forwarders and carriers.
  • Analyze import documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, DI/DUE).
  • Monitor customs clearance and release timelines.
  • Assess impacts of taxes, exchange rates, Incoterms and logistics costs.
  • Monitor performance indicators (OTIF, inventory turnover, coverage, costs).
  • Work to mitigate risks of material shortages and obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Contracts and Finance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, compliance standards and applicable legislation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade or related fields.
  • Solid experience in materials planning and control (MPC), preferably with electronic components and imported items.
  • Experience with import processes, Incoterms, international lead times and global supply chains (COMEX).
  • Strategic experience in materials planning and control with short-, medium- and long-term perspective.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, demand scenarios and financial impacts.
  • Proactive in identifying supply risks and proposing solutions.
  • Commitment to deadlines, data quality and service levels.
  • Advanced knowledge of MRP, inventory management and materials planning.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP).
  • Advanced English for communication with international suppliers.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with different departments and suppliers.
