Inventory Manager APAC managing inventory and logistics across multiple warehouses in the region. Collaborating with 3PL providers to ensure efficient operations and effective stock control.
Responsibilities
Oversee inventory levels across APAC warehouses to ensure optimal stock availability.
Flexing stock-holding strategies based on market intelligence and demand forecasts.
Modify and execute inventory control process in collaboration with global teams and 3PLs, incorporating cycle counts, reconciliations, and audit activities.
Optimise freight consolidation and lead APAC freight operations, achieving target delivery lead times.
Work closely with planning teams to align stock movement forecast with 3PL resource planning and execution.
Actively monitor and review logistics operations, maintain compliance with budgetary parameters while adapting to dynamic business needs.
Act as primary point of contact for 3PLs, building strong relationships and leading co-packing projects.
Lead SOP maintenance and remediation process with 3PLs to meet agreed SLs and deadlines.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives for end-to-end warehouse operations with 3PL partners.
Validate monthly 3PL billing against contractual agreements and coordinate accruals with Finance.
Utilise technology and software tools to streamline inventory management and provide regional insights.
Analyze data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement, collaborating with cross-functional and externa partners.
Prepare and present regular inventory & logistics performance reports to senior management.
Manage the Regional Inventory & Logistics team, fostering innovation and continual improvement in inventory management.
Build a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Work close with Senior Management to align inventory strategies with broader supply chain goals.
Requirements
A strong educational background
7+ years of experience in a similar multi-site inventory management role
Experience working with logistics providers and able to demonstrate experience in driving operational performance improvement.
Able to demonstrate real examples of taking ownership of projects/improvements right through to the end result.
Showing outstanding attention to detail, identifying, and addressing anomalies quickly
Understanding and commercial awareness of the total supply chain including supply and demand planning.
Experience with an ERP, WMS and POS system is a must, someone IT savvy who is able to bring experience of improved information sharing.
