Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and lead the service recovery team.
  • Manage effective and safe operation of the network and recovery of network performance.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, systems, and processes for service operation.
  • Ensure communication of service recovery and transport plans to customer facing teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve strategic and operational performance objectives.

Requirements

  • Extensive and demonstrated operational experience in driving continuous improvement within a rail environment or equivalent industry based operational function.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in rail operations and operational risk.
  • Understanding of command and control structure.
  • Strong understanding of customer orientation and operational service delivery demands.
  • Experience in a senior leadership role within a rail operations environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the delivery of transformational change and capability uplift.
