About the role

  • Business development role in in vitro diagnostics for a major international player. Supporting hospitals with innovative diagnostic technologies in the Île-de-France region.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy the commercial strategy across the Paris Île-de-France area and manage a regional action plan
  • Identify laboratory needs and propose suitable in vitro diagnostics (IVD) solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle: demonstrations, quotations, negotiations, tenders, and contract finalization
  • Work closely with marketing and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Represent the company at conferences, events, and client meetings
  • Track sales activity in Salesforce and provide reliable forecasts

Requirements

  • Scientific degree (BSc+3 / Master’s level) in biology, biochemistry, or biotechnology
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience selling diagnostic products
  • Good knowledge of the in vitro diagnostics market
  • Comfort selling technical solutions and managing complex sales cycles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with a variety of hospital stakeholders
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Knowledge of immunology or molecular biology is a plus
