Global Facility Management Sr Director leading operational excellence across 100+ locations in healthcare facilities. Innovating risk management and compliance, while driving energy management initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage global FM employees including Regional Leads, and Site Agnostic regional program leads.
Accountable for fiduciary oversight and performance management oversight of operating and capital budgets.
Accountable for relationships with business partners in region to ensure FM operational support of and alignment with business strategies.
Accountable for alignment between global functions, site-agnostic regional roles, and outsourced vendors.
Accountable for applying global standards with the region and providing collective regional feedback on programs and standards.
Accountable for management of facilities assets to deliver reliable performance and year over year cost reductions; Establish and enforce methodologies to generate savings (e.g., cost savings, cost avoidance, etc.).
Support and foster innovation to maintain FM relevance and build new capabilities.
Attract, develop and retain talent to ensure the people with the right skills and motivations meet business needs and are in the right place at the right time.
Establish a culture of uncompromising legal and regulatory compliance and ensure needed programs and capability to support and implement.
Align within RE/FM/Corp Ops and cross functional peers to ensure an end-to-end focus across respective teams and in connecting to internal customers’ business needs.
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in facilities management, engineering, business, operations management, etc., or equivalent required.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with experience in health care products is highly desired.
Minimum of 10 years managing large global teams.
Knowledge of operations management with some background in real estate, facilities management, and delivering capital projects in a complex footprint environment.
The demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority is essential.
Demonstrated experience of regional collaboration, completion of significant programs, and people development.
Insight-driven to uncover unmet needs. Translate these needs into viable solutions that create value.
Experience in working with and socializing strategies with executive leadership.
Experience managing large geographically dispersed teams.
Proven Leadership and ability to collaborate and influence cross functional business partners.
Experience in CRE, facilities and/or manufacturing.
Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of successfully managing people, including building and developing technical compliance teams.
