Responsibilities
Direct the region’s sales activities that result in meeting annual growth and revenue objectives
Lead/manage the Region Clinical Manager, collaborating with them on the direction and development of the region clinical consultant team members
Directs the sales performance in specified region
Identify, hire, retain and develop talent through proactively managing performance
Develop strategies for launching new accounts and greater penetration in existing accounts
Establish effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of sales
Lead difficult sales negotiations, especially with larger prospects
Collaborate with cross functional departments within the organizations in order to support region growth
Requirements
BS or advanced degree, MBA Preferred
5+ years of high-performance experience in the medical device cardiovascular space
5+ years of management experience of a field commercial team or 2+ of Abiomed Associate Regional Director experience
Ability to gain cooperation of others and lead team members; exhibits ability to lead a diverse team with strong emotional intelligence
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders internal and external
Demonstrated critical thinking in fast paced environment
Ability to exercise judgment in selecting, methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently (oral and written)
