About the role

  • Designing and executing education projects in the Surgery field for Johnson & Johnson. Collaborating with local teams to enhance technology adoption and training effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • He/She will be responsible for designing and executing professional education projects, managing the identification and development of Centre of Excellences in the region, developing education assets and events to support tech penetration and adoption of minimally invasive procedures.
  • He/She will be expected to plan and deliver best-in-class education through flawless execution of professional education activities and events as well as generating and analyzing education effectiveness data for continual improvement.
  • Report to Professional Education Lead, SEA Surgery.
  • Design, structure and roll-out education programs and courses in partnership with local teams to acquire, educate and engage with customers across various specialties within Surgery and to accelerate technology penetration and minimally invasive procedures adoption.
  • Identify and develop Centre of Excellences within SEA – work with key opinion leaders in developing a learning journey to build competency and confidence in our doctors.
  • Partner with Marketing team to support tech penetration through education, including developing, reviewing of education content, assets and events.
  • Develop education tools and materials by working with agencies.
  • Lead and manage professional education projects from planning to execution as assigned.

Requirements

  • Have a strong background and experience in Medical Devices, preferably in the Surgery field.
  • Have at least 8 years of experience in structuring education programs/ courses and delivering training, managing speakers and project management in the MedTech industry.
  • Have strong understanding of how learning design and technology solutions fit together into a comprehensive learning strategy/ approach.
  • Having knowledge in adult learning principles is an advantage.
  • Have the capabilities and experience in leading projects with ability to manage multiple streams of work simultaneously and executing them successfully with keen attention to details.
  • Have effective communication and be collaborative with all the regional team, local market counterparts, cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Be highly organized in managing and coordinating projects.
  • Travel to other countries based on business needs (up to 25%).
  • Be an inclusive leader who fosters a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities.
