About the role

  • Vice President of Construction at JLL, leading project management efforts in commercial real estate. Driving team performance and delivering exceptional project outcomes in diverse projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of project managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and development
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring they are aligned with clients' goals and expectations
  • Develop and implement project management strategies and methodologies, leveraging more innovative ways of working to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Champion a culture of collaboration by actively engaging with cross-functional teams, both locally and globally, to optimize project outcomes
  • Foster a climate of inclusivity and belonging, supporting each other's wellbeing and promoting a diverse workforce
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnering with the business development team to drive growth and expand client relationships
  • Drive a sales culture within the PDS team, including leading sales and cross-selling meetings
  • Develop client pursuit strategies, pitch effectively, secure new business, and successfully execute projects across all elements of the PDS platform

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering, architecture)
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects within the commercial real estate industry
  • Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing teams, with exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a demonstrated ability to drive process improvements
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing project budgets and financial reporting
  • Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions
