About the role
- MAC and Relocation Project Management Lead overseeing multiple projects in corporate real estate. Responsible for staffing, execution, and communication for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support business initiatives with developing solutions for special projects with space planning, Events requests, and the Corporate Real Estate Team.
- Develop plans related to relocation requests required to support move projects.
- Communicate all related activities to see the project through implementation and completion.
- Maintain up-to-date project time forecasts that accurately estimate the staffing requirements for each project.
- Review and approve line item timesheet entries.
- Review, revise, reconcile and verify invoices within the timeframe specified by accounting.
- Assure completeness of all internal project administrative close-out activities.
- Participate actively in quarterly budget reviews.
- Manage all project activities on account and/or projects assigned.
- Understand and manage client expectations, interact positively with client, provide diplomatic, constructive and productive feedback to accomplish end result.
Requirements
- Background in project management, program management, or project strategy planning is desirable.
- 6 - 10 years of facility, project or construction related experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment.
- Minimum 2 years as a Sr Relocation Project Manager or related experience.
- Proficient in a CAD/CAFM technology with a move management module and/or facilities management system
- Strong Microsoft Excel & Projects skills
- Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts
- Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
- Ability to manage all aspects of move management projects effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to Budgeting, Scheduling and Change orders
- Previous experience effectively supervising, training, mentoring and evaluating several move managers at various levels within the organization/team.
