About the role

  • Long-Range Artillery Senior Analyst managing artillery programs at JANUS Research Group. Providing analysis and recommendations on capability development and modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manages long-range artillery programs, including PrSM, GMLRS, HIMARS, and related fire support systems
  • Provides analysis and recommendations on capability development, modernization, and resource allocation
  • Develops information papers, briefings, and SPAR/POM inputs addressing performance, affordability, and operational impact
  • Coordinates with ASA(ALT), T2COM, and ARSTAF to align long-range precision fires modernization with Army and Joint priorities

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
  • Demonstrates expert analytical and technical skills in long-range fires systems, munitions, and integrated fires architecture
  • Proficient in evaluating range, lethality, targeting integration, sustainment, and industrial-base factors to inform modernization and fielding decisions
  • Possesses advanced modeling, cost-analysis, and communication abilities to produce clear, data-driven assessments supporting long-range fires capability development
