About the role

  • Developer - PHP enhancing E-Commerce software with a focus on quality and new features at ITB-GmbH. Collaborate with a dynamic team in a hybrid work setting in Kamp-Lintfort.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing new features for our e‑commerce system following common design patterns and coding principles
  • Integration and/or unit tests to ensure code quality
  • (Further) development of existing functionalities
  • Code refactoring for continuous software optimization
  • Active participation in daily stand-ups, code reviews and pull requests

Requirements

  • Relevant completed vocational training or a degree (e.g. Business Informatics); alternatively several years of professional experience in web development
  • Strong experience in web development (PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, CSS); experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel is desirable
  • Bonus points for experience with common test frameworks, e‑commerce systems, or other technologies such as Linux, Docker, Confluence or Azure DevOps
  • Soft skills: analytical thinking, independent and solution‑oriented working style
  • Team‑oriented and communicative way of working – also within the team
