Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the technical support team to troubleshoot network connectivity issues;
• Configure network devices such as firewalls and access points (APs);
• Perform network and network asset troubleshooting;
• Backup and restore configurations of network devices such as APs and firewalls;
• Monitor hosts and network performance to identify potential connectivity issues;
• Activate and test internet links;
• Open tickets with internet service providers;
• Record and document network incidents and resolutions as well as routine procedures;
• Assist with equipment management.

Requirements

• Preferred: University degree (completed or in progress);
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite;
• Basic level of English;
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and key protocols;
• Strong knowledge of static routing;
• Knowledge of VPN (IPSec);
• Knowledge of core network services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, FTP, TFTP);
• Understanding of the SNMP protocol;
• Experience with firewalls (e.g., FortiGate, pfSense, MikroTik, etc.);
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix and Orion);
• Experience with Access Points (e.g., Aruba IAP, UniFi, etc.);
• Desired knowledge of dynamic routing (OSPF and BGP);
• Desired knowledge of switches.
