Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the technical support team to troubleshoot network connectivity issues;
- Configure network devices such as firewalls and access points (APs);
- Perform network and network asset troubleshooting;
- Backup and restore configurations of network devices such as APs and firewalls;
- Monitor hosts and network performance to identify potential connectivity issues;
- Activate and test internet links;
- Open tickets with internet service providers;
- Record and document network incidents and resolutions as well as routine procedures;
- Assist with equipment management.
Requirements
- Preferred: University degree (completed or in progress);
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite;
- Basic level of English;
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and key protocols;
- Strong knowledge of static routing;
- Knowledge of VPN (IPSec);
- Knowledge of core network services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, FTP, TFTP);
- Understanding of the SNMP protocol;
- Experience with firewalls (e.g., FortiGate, pfSense, MikroTik, etc.);
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix and Orion);
- Experience with Access Points (e.g., Aruba IAP, UniFi, etc.);
- Desired knowledge of dynamic routing (OSPF and BGP);
- Desired knowledge of switches.
