About the role
- Analyst managing Veritas NetBackup and security solutions at ISH Tecnologia. Responsible for advanced support, documentation, and backup expansion in corporate environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and provide advanced support for Veritas NetBackup;
- Execute backup, restore and data recovery routines;
- Define retention policies, media and storage capacity;
- Support the expansion of backup and storage environments;
- Administer Windows Server systems;
- Work with storage technologies;
- Interface with vendors and partners (support, RMA);
- Create documentation and Health Check reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a degree in any field provided it is complemented by a postgraduate specialization in IT of at least 360 hours from an institution recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC);
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in Information Security;
- Experience with Veritas NetBackup;
- Knowledge of Windows Server;
- Experience with Storage solutions (SAN/NAS);
- Experience in corporate infrastructure environments;
- Experience administering Veritas NetBackup 8.0 is a plus;
- Courses or certifications in Backup, Windows Server or Storage are a plus;
- ITIL certification is a plus.
