About the role
- Customer Consultant 1 providing banking products and services to customers at Ion Bank. Handling transactions, inquiries, and financial planning for clients in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Bank’s products and services to potential and existing customers
- Perform financial transactions accurately and effectively
- Maintain and apply a working knowledge of all applicable banking regulations
- Ensure company service standards are continually achieved
- Project a positive and highly professional image of the Bank
- Respond to customer inquiries and help resolve customer questions/issues
- Conduct installment and secured loan interviews
- Process application on computer
- Assist customers in their financial planning by making referrals to business partners
- Maintain a daily record of all customer contact, sales, and other necessary data
Requirements
- A High School diploma is required
- Additional college coursework or bank-related training
- Minimum of 1 year of banking experience
- At least 2 years of sales and customer service experience—or a comparable combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with financial terminology, banking systems, and various payment delivery options is essential.
