About the role

  • Deputy Operations Manager supporting daily operations and tour leader management at Intrepid Travel. Collaborating across teams to ensure travel experience quality and safety standards in Central America.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of daily operations, including recruitment, training, and performance of tour leaders.
  • Responsible for monitoring and implementing safety standards, code of conduct, and responsible travel policies across the Central America region.
  • Work collaboratively with Reservations, Product, Contracting, Sales, Customer Care, and Global Operations to drive group profitability and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Support various administrative tasks to assist the Operations team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or tourism.
  • 1+ years working on management coaching / training experience.
  • 2 + years in administrative tasks using Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in both English and Spanish.
  • Reliable with outstanding organizational skills.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
