About the role

  • Area Sales Manager for Norddeutschland focusing on Solutions, managing customer relationships and technical consulting. Collaborating with internal teams and representing the company at events.

Responsibilities

  • Acquisition of new customers and (Key) Account Management for the Northern Germany sales territory in the Solutions segment according to the strategic direction
  • Customer support in close coordination with internal stakeholders ASM Products and ASM Service
  • Technical consulting of customers and support in implementing customer specifications
  • Close cooperation with Internal Sales in the areas of offer preparation, price lists, delivery agreements, etc.
  • Responsibility for contract management and insolvency protection (e.g., monitoring invoices, dunning procedures, etc.)
  • Monitoring market trends and buyer behavior and providing feedback to Global Product Management and the R&D center to drive the development of new solutions and applications
  • Maintaining the customer database and ensuring all information is up to date (SAP/CRM)
  • Representing the company at trade shows and customer events

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering; alternatively, state-certified technician/master craftsman or equivalent qualifications
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a technical environment—e.g., intralogistics systems engineering, drive technology, control engineering or similar
  • Strong service and customer orientation
  • Independent, self-motivated working style
  • Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for technical topics
  • Very good German and English skills (at least C1)
  • High willingness to travel within the sales territory and to the involved production sites
