About the role
- Financial Accountant Team Lead overseeing Finance Team for accurate reporting while ensuring compliance. Strong focus on financial processes and team management in a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Managing the company’s Finance and Administration team
- Manage the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Credit Control functions.
- Preparation of monthly consolidated financial information.
- Manage full trial balance and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- FP&A; specifically analysing trends.
- Design and implement agreed improvements to the current processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (CT, VAT, VIES etc.)
- Liaising with and assisting external auditors.
- Liaise with HOF/ CFO and perform further ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualified with good accounts preparation experience.
- People management experience.
- Highly Desirable Attributes
- An understanding of ERP and/or similar Business Software tools.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple issues simultaneously.
- A self-starter with an ability to identify issues and resolve problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exposure to compliance requirements for USA companies/subsidiaries.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
