About the role

• Product Design Manager responsible for leading design of Luciq’s dashboard and SDK in Cairo. Collaborating across product management and engineering to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating product flows and features, modifying the UI.
• Collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams across all steps of the discovery and solution development process for Luciq’s dashboard and SDK.
• Own and manage the Design team backlog, ensuring high-quality execution and clear prioritization.
• Own and manage the User Research backlog, ensuring alignment with product priorities and strategic goals.
• Partner closely with User Research to inform product strategy.
• Manage a team of Product Designers and User Researchers.
• Design Luciq’s products (Web Dashboard and Mobile SDKs).
• Work through design problems from beginning to end, translating insights from research and analytics into concepts that are disruptive for new products and features, and designing the detailed workflows and interactions required to make them a reality.
• Own the design process and all the moving pieces within it: research, UX, and UI design, etc.
• Collaborate with the design team to continuously improve and maintain Luciq’s design systems and raise the quality bar of the designs.
• Test design options ongoing with users via short iterations.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize design work, align dependencies, and enable efficient delivery.
• Be a team player, share knowledge and best practices with our design and product teams.
• Identify opportunities for you and your teams based on insights, feedback, and business goals.

Requirements

• From 10-13 years of experience in related fields
• Degree in Applied Arts or related field.
• Provide equal competency in both UI and UX design.
• Exposure to AI-driven design tools or data-informed UX workflows.
• Proven experience coaching senior designers into leadership or specialized roles.
• Excellent knowledge of user experience best practices.
• Excellent visual design skills and can create a class-leading design.
• Excellent experience working with User Testing and Research.
• Conceive, sketch, and pitch original ideas to peers and business owners.
• Excellent experience working with Figma, and prototyping tools is a must.
• Excellent experience with building design systems is a plus.
