Digital Content Intern supporting Innocence Project's digital team in creating and managing content. Focused on social media and digital engagement strategies.
Responsibilities
Provide support to the digital team within the communications department.
Assist in developing and creating digital and editorial content, social strategies.
Help manage daily management of social channels.
Identify impactful opportunities to connect with various audiences.
Report to the Digital Engagement Specialist.
Work closely with the editorial team to pitch and draft content on wrongful conviction stories.
Requirements
Undergraduate or graduate student with a concentration in English, communications, journalism, media relations, policy, political science or a related field is a plus but not required.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and proofreading.
Basic competency in Google Suite and AP style.
Experience managing social media, writing copy, and community management is a plus.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
